My name is D. Woods. I am an AEA, SAG-AFTRA actress, singer/songwriter and dancer trained at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Alvin Ailey School, and had Billboard multi-platinum success. I love the theater and live performance but also have found a home in front of the camera. I had the honor of being apart of the 7 time TONY nominated Broadway Revival of FOR COLORED GIRLS in 2022, Off Broadway production of BLACK ODYSSEY 2023 and most recently the winner of the 2024 Off Broadway League Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Musical under the direction of nicHi Douglas in (pray) a sacred offering.
